Strengthening Educational Infrastructure*
In both Somalia and Kenya, there is a pressing need for robust educational infrastructure. This includes not only physical buildings but also access to learning materials and technology. ICAD Africa could focus on building schools in remote areas, providing digital resources, and ensuring that educational facilities are equipped to handle the needs of a growing student population.
Improving Teacher Training and Professional Development
The quality of education is heavily dependent on the quality of teaching. ICAD Africa can contribute by offering comprehensive training programs for teachers, focusing on modern pedagogies, subject matter expertise, and the use of technology in the classroom. Additionally, creating a platform for teacher exchange programs between Somalia and Kenya could foster shared learning and experiences.
